There not really just plastic. Dont know what they really are though. Chevy wont tell you. On the LS1 intakes I have been smoothing by sanding only. With the LS6 intakes it takes some filling and sanding though. Dont know why, buth the bumps on the LS1 are outies and the LS6 are innies. Just differences in the molds I guess.
PITA job. So someone can have a hydrant in the back yard for the dogs to piss on. Please keep in mind that this thing is rough cast, and he couldnt have paid me enough to smooth it out.
Although some good came of this job. I figured out how to burn off paint or powder cheaply and easy.
Its really used to put new tar on a roof. I use it for weeds in the driveway, starting the charcoal (cause I dont like starter fluid taste) and now to burn off paint and powder.
Its safe, you can order them from grainger or northern I think. Pretty sure about Northern

Interesting... Is that all there is to it or is there something else in that line that is not showing in the picture? It's just the propane tank, line, and torch, correct?
Now you have to take a video or pictures of this thing at work! Hehehe...
yeah Juan, thats all there is, it even states in the post I put in that it uses no regulator. Ill get a pic of me using it (tonight when it will look really cool)
You just gotta have the tank, which you can steal from you propane grill or whatever to do the job.
