I kind of half ass wiped them w/ a foam brush. I got really good powder coverage and didn't want to screw them up trying to wipe them clean. Had to use the Dremel on them after cure. That's a whole lot of chance for error.

i never use the foam brush on them , i
i wipe them with my finger i keep a damp rag beside me to wipe off the powder from my finger and to keep the finger lightly damp so the powder from the fin will stick to it .
you need a steady hand for this , too little or too much beer and you have to start over
