Nice job on the rims bro, smooht! Did you spray the required mils on them or did you go a bit heavy? How about the cure time. Cold or warm oven? And did u boost right up to temp with the oven?

            Here's How i did These...

Started off with oven at 350-deg.
Sprayed Them Cold with a good Medium coat, Put in Oven for 8-9 minutes until Powder started to Flow. Removed & sprayed another good Medium coat.
Baked for 10 min at 350 , Then Crank oven up to 375 and Baked for 20 min Once parts were up to temp..

After baking i Cracked oven door and let them cool in oven for about 10-15 min.
Then removed them and Speed cooled them infront of a Fan...

Those are awesome HP. Can I ask you, in between coats, did you let them cool or shoot them immediately after removing from the oven?
I hate asking, feels like I'm asking the colonel for the secret 11 herbs and spices.

Pulled them right out of the oven & Spray that second Coat.. No cool down Time..

Hp the rims look great. But i have to ask. What was the reason you pulled them out and added that second coat? Was it because you have seen peel with this powder before? Or did you feel more powder would give extra protection. I ask because I have had some problems with the SD wet black....Sometimes it seems that it just doesn't want to flow right. I seem to get a small amount of peel...usually. I have seen posts on this powder where people love it and get great results. This is one powder " for me" That just doesn't want to flow correctly, no matter what I do.

Yea, I don't get it either. I spray wet black on with medium/heavy coats all the time and it comes out smoother than any other powder I've sprayed.

So much so I have to remind myself to not put so much on on small/thin pieces.
