extreme chrome in my opinion is no match for the Ultimate....once clear coated it looks like aluminum alot of the time...

what happened after the second coat? 1.8 mils is the recommended mil thickness and cure it all the way out...this product is overbake stable (I made sure of that)...

        Re: ultimate chrome

i shot flat black after outgassing and then shot chrome, black bled through in some spots, mostly on the ridges and corners, shot again, came out sweet, i have a mil reader but only for ferrous. wish you didnt need clear, looks killer fresh out of the oven

Ultimate chrome is hands down better than the xtreme chrome.

Did you make sure that the flat black was Fully Cured before applying the Ultimate Chrome?

Can I ask why you shot the flat black down first, then the chrome?

Chrome powders are more prone to outgassing isues than others.
So you use the black as a seal from outgasing in the chrome ?
