  • PBTP Ultimate Chrome

My latest try with this stuff. It looks REALLY nice until you add the clear, then it does dull some. It still looks much better than others when placed side by side. Even my EW Single Stage Chrome doesn't reflect as nice.

Yes, it's polyester high gloss clear. The flash is obviously glaring a bit.

I got a panel of that stuff & it sure does look nice. Next time I need some chrome I am going to give it a shot.

Dan did you bring them temp up slow on it or just put it in at full temp. Usually with chromes I let them flow out for a while & then I raise the temp. Looks really good man.

When I open my 6' oven door to put the parts in after preheating, it cools down from 400 to about 250 f. I let the parts ramp to temp as the oven temp is coming back up. I think it ramps up slow enough to level out without problems.

It's not how many you have but how well the work

Yes and no..... Yes better elements and PID's etc. can help a fast recovery time.

3 elements VS 4 elements (Same watt and setup) 4 elements will win hands down on keeping the temp up and heating up faster.

Wise do you have a PID or?
