Does any one have any tips on how to powder coat wheels?.I have a cust. wants the outer lip chrome and everthing else gloss black.hummmm?tape

I hear people are using that blue masking tape and foil. After you get the part about 225-250 pull the tape off and cure for the rest of the time.

well,first of all i'm back from vacation.
I had a phone call from some some wanting to just do the lip where u would bang on the wheel weight on the rim "chrome",and the rest of the wheel gloss black.what would be the best way to attack this project?i'm just trying to get some ideas together,because i've never done this before.....

Has any-one ever done DPE rims?.Just wondering if there's some weird primer underneath i would need to no about.....

Dynamic Performance Enignerring.I never heard of them either.The customer says that they are a 3 peice wheel and need to come apart before powder coating them......hummmm

yes,but by the pic.it really doesn't look like they do come apart

well,i just got off the phone with the manufactor,they are 3 peice wheels and need to be center lined for reassemble.
