First attempt... Jet Ski motor

I build custom Jet Skis and this was my first time powder coating anything. I usually paint the engines or have them painted, but wanted to try something different. I will be powder coating from now on for higher end builds.

The powder used for this engine is from PBTP, it's called Sparkle Granny Smith and it's a dormant. The clear used was Crystal Clear Super Durable High Gloss Clear. The color doesn't look even but it is, the way the light hits it changes it's look. Awesome color, I love it!

I could not be happier with the final product, although it's not perfect. I learned a lot during the process of coating this motor, and I'm glad I finally tried it. I actually coated other parts for this particular ski, used Mirror Black and they turned out great.

Man, that color is sick. Did you strip the whole engine down, even the crankcase? or did you coat the engine all together and tape everything off?
