  • First Customer Parts

These are a bunch of parts that I did for my first real customer. It's a CB1100F frame, swing arm and other parts. He was extremely happy with the results. The black is PBTP mirror black. The valve is PBTP flat black. The swing arm looked awesome, PBTP Silver Sparkle. All but the valve cover was clear coated with glass clear.

How did you hang those coil springs without leaving a unpowdered area?

Use a very thin hook or wire and hook it at the very end of the spring. You have to really look hard usually to find any marks that way.

Awesome job. Just out of curiosity, what gun do you use?

I carry a gun because I'm too young to die, and too old to take an ass-whoopin'!

I've got the ebay gun. I also have one of Beebobs hoppers that I'm trying to get to work. Hopefully Matt will have something for these. The springs I did just as Bob said. They turned out great. The mark where they were hanging is almost unnoticeable. With the covers on the shocks you'll never see them.

Matt emailed me and is having trouble with the compatibility. Hopefully he'll figure something out.

              Nice job, by the way!

Matt currently has my ebay gun and is working on a kit for using BeeBob's hoppers with that unit. He said he had to get some additional parts to make it work, but I'm not sure what parts. He was still pretty confident that he could make it work. Hopefully we'll know soon, and I'll happily share any info when he's finished.
