I found a guy local selling a nice used gun and a bunch of powder for cheap. Anyway a couple pounds of this blue was included but it did not have a label. After shooting and curing the first coat it was obviously a dormant but I did not expect it to turn out so cool. So after looking around on a few sites I'm guessing this is dormant blue and man do it look really really good in person.
Looks a lot like Cobalt Blue or Bentley Blue. Did you apply clear over it? Dormant powders require a clear to be applied after a full or partial cure in order to complete the color conversion to their final appearance. If that is just a single-coat color, not a dormant. Very nice though.

Yeah it is definately a dormant. I was a very light silvery blue until the clear cured. Dormants are so cool, you put them in the oven one color and they come out something completely different.
Yeah, I shot a Granny Smith Sparkle (green metallic) dormant once. It went on a pukey olive drab color, cured and looked almost like reflective chrome...no color at all. Shot the clear over it, and BAM!!! (sorry, Emeril..stole your line ) Sweetest greet metallic you ever saw.
