    Ok guys im currently using a HF hobby gun till i get the money to buy a good gun, when i do my clear coat i get excessive orang peel how can i reduce this?

    You'r probably getting op due to too much powder. Common problem with a hobby gun. Your best bet is warm the part to 180-200F. and shoot the clear on at that temp. You won't be able to get that white "flocked Christmas tree" look when coating, beacuse the powder will start to flow on contact. But, you'll be able to get good even coverage without piling it on too heavy.

      I myself have never gotten any orange peel with any gun i used or with any color, even shot 3 coats of black w/ a clear and it was fine. all I do is take my time try to move the gun evenly and cover all areas starting w/the hardest to reach areas 1st then do the rest.
