I don't really know your knowledge of powder coating, but the guys from Tiger Drylac teach it and they do a good job of really going in depth on everything down to how the powder is formulated and what gives its specific properties.

If you are a beginner in the industry (less than 2 years), I would suggest Powder-X's course. They really walk you through things that you may not understand and they don't tell you things that you really don't need to know. They also do a hands-on session the 2nd day in which you can bring in your own part to coat.

Hope this helps. If you have any other questions feel free to email me. [email protected]
    Thanks for the info.

I think this course will be what I am looking for. I understand the basics, but can use more specifics.

    Surface Finishing Academy Course

I'm considering attending the Surface Finishing Academy 2-day Powder Coating Course ( http://www.surfacefinishingacademy.com/ ... e-w-3.html ) next month in Chicago (actually Itasca) and wanted to know if any of you have attended one.

    Is it worth going to?

    Thanks.
