Got a call today for 210 brackets from shelving units, approximately 6" x 5" blasted and coated single stage grey. Should be able to do 30 or so in the oven at one time.
Ballpark me on stripping and coating these please.
The only thing i would question is if the first powder coater media blasted, and cured them all right.i like to completely stripp every thing the right way so it does "COME BACK"
I agree with Jeff, sometimes coating an existing surface is just more cost effective... I'm having the same issue with a local slot machine company wanting some panels done. They are powder coated and want to change color, nothing wrong with the current finish, just wrong color. By the time I strip, blast, and coat them, they will be very close to the cost of buying new plates in the correct color. Sometimes it's better to just use what's already there for a lower cost, as long as it doesn't mean compromising all quality.
