Ok.... indulge the newbie What instructions do i give a customer to take care of his now great looking part? What do i tell them to stay away from? I had a customer ask yesterday & kinda waffled through it... made me sound soooo incompetant huummmphhh
Thank You......
It would be nice to have a list of DO's and DON'T's to provide customers.
Main thing I've told a couple of people is to stay away from carburetor cleaner... especially since I know one of the guys loves to spray that crap on everything.
Hopefully others can provide some good answers and tips.
I tell them treat the pc like you would a paint job and you won't go wrong.
NO...
Scotch brite pads, brake cleaner, harsh chemicals, etc...Just plain old soap and water and a sponge!
Great guys Thank You When you say no carb cleaner that that include brake cleaner??? What about simple green or the "purple" one ??
By the way.... you guys ROCK !!!!
Has any one come up on something else that's not good for powder let me know and I will add to the list. I can also edit it and put in items that will not harm it. We know what to do but just maybe a print out of do's and don t's might help to give a customer? But then he brings it back and me no do non this it just did it on its on Yea Right Honey would you Please bring me my 45 so we can discuss this better
