I am hoping to step up to a bigger oven after the first of the year and I wanted to hear some feedback. I've heard quite a bit good about Ted's Fabrication but I also ran across this on ebay and it looks killer http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=320324895804 I'm just not sure if the 3'x3'x30" dimensions are big enough. I want it to be big enough for motorcyle and quad frames and maybe the occasional bumper. I know they say buy the biggest you can afford but I'm not sure what would be the most practical. So anyone with feedback on quality, brands, pricing, and size please chime in, I'm all ears. Thanks guys.

Re: What oven should I get
That oven seems like a very small step up from a large kitchen oven. I highly doubt you will be able to fit any bike frames in a 3' oven. I was even told my plans for building a 5' oven would not be sufficient, and this is true after actually building my 6' oven and seeing some of these frames.
I would suggest at least giving Ted a call, who knows... he might be able to work out a deal on a custom size oven for you that's a good value for your needs.

Re: What oven should I get
The Dillon looks like a nice unit for sure, but for about the same money, Ted could probably build you a base model 4'x4'x6' which gives you about 42"x42"x64" internal dimensions. Not as fancy looking, but his ovens work very well. If you're considering doing frames, you'll definitely need a bigger oven than the one you're looking at. At least consider all your options before spending that kind of money.
Best of luck.Dan

Re: What oven should I get
I second teds ovens, I have seen one of them in person. I do not own one, and I dont have the money to buy one. But if I were planning to buy an oven rather than build mine(which is what im doing), Ted would get my money!! He is a very helpful guy and wouldnt steer you wrong.
