I have a customer that would like his quad frame in the color of Honda Red.. He wants the Silver Explosion as a base coat, would the Dark Red Transparent work or would multiple coats of Candy Red work better? Any ideas??
Thanks,
Dave
What you described will look nice, but it won't be close to a "Honda" red.
Honda has used numerous reds over the years, but mostly solid colors not transparents or candies. The exception would be a few tanks here and there. Any bike with a red frame and bodywork (XRs, CRFs, CRs, etc) are solid colors.
I believe they have used the same red on those for a while now, but it changed a few times in the 80s and 90s.
