What do you guys think of either using high temp powder on the inside of this oven or high temp paint? I was thinking that the high temp paint might emitt "air junk" during baking and mess with the finish my powder coating.
When i built my 4x4x6 oven i Got a couple spray cans of 1200-deg Silver BBQ ceramic paint from Home Depot & it has held up pretty Good for the last Three years..
When I did mine, I used a good Hi-Temp header paint. Did okay for a short time, then started flaking, so stay away from that. Makes for good specks in your powder.
Curious why you would waste the time and money on painting the inside at all? The sheet metal in mine still looks like new after using for 6 months. I just wipe it out with a damp rag every once in awhile.

well, I figured that it with the heating and cooling, condensation would make for some surface rust?? Since you guys arent having any trouble with that, I may try it for awhile "naked"
That's the problem I had with mine. I used plain steel and not galvanized. But my second oven got galvanized. But the paint was supposed to keep the rusting down or eliminated for fear of rust dust in the powder. Which it did keep from happening, but then the paint started turning loose and did what I was trying to avoid. So, another lesson learned. But I brushed it until most of it is gone, due to it flaking off. No more issues, with that at least.
