  • Ariens orange?

Anyone know of a close match for the orange used on Ariens snowblowers?

I'm planning to do some of the engine and frame parts on mine in the not too distant future.

    Thanks.

No idea on the color, but why in the world would you tear apart a snowblower in the winter. You are guaranteeing a blizzard before its back together

Hi Jay,I did my new 1980 Ariens mod. no.92044 in Nov.I used Nissan Orange(on sale!) The powder is very close and would please most purists of the other Wisconsin vibrator. Those old Ariens are built like tanks and most people hang onto these for years.I will give it a nice workout in the morning!

Thanks for the tip on Nissan Orange.

I bought this one new in '85 - 5hp Techumse. Starts 1st pull every time.

It needs some attention - but not before spring! The second have it apart we'd get a foot of snow, so yes, I'll wait.

        Thanks.

Here is a picture of a can am 400 qualifier motor I did today. All magnesium,oh boy what a p.i.t.a to coat! I applied a flat black epoxy as a base coat than the orange.I was really happy with the results considering the amount of lab metal used.
