Re: ALUMINUM BEER BOTTLES
Hey everyone. I am new to PC and have will have a few/alot of questions. I belong to several forums of all types and look forward to learning here aswell. I have already soaked up alot of info before I registered. Anyhow, is that how you prep the alum. bottles? You can just bake the label off? Or does it need stripped?Comment

Re: ALUMINUM BEER BOTTLES
A lot of time you can get by without stripping the bottles. Lighter colors tend to show the label thru the coating but many colors are fine without stripping. I just coated a half dozen alum bottles with the Patented Ultimate Chrome for use as a base coat. The label doesn't show thru at all, with or without a top coat. I just wipe them down with denatured alcohol before shooting.Comment
