Hi I got a call from a company that wants 1 inch coils or reels (Bobinas in Spanish) coated in flat black or satin black. they will be delivering anywhere from 5000 to 8000 a month.
they are in bare new metal (as described by them, i haven't seen the part yet)

Man, I really need to see a pic or something - " one inch coils or reels" means nothing to me. One inch coils or reels of "what"?

NEVER BID ANYTHING SIGHT UNSEEN!!! They'll own you in a hearbeat if you do.

$2? Really? In those types of quantities, you'll be lucky to $.50 each. You could get $5.00 each if you were only doing 5 or 10 at a time, but 5000-8000, those are some serious numbers.

This is pure production work, and you really need to be set up for it. Like being able to do 500 at a time min. That's a big racking job, a big rack, and a BIG oven even at 500.
