I have a guy that wants me to coat the fenders for a trailer he is building. My question is what prep work do I need to do to the metal under the plastic? Does that plastic leave anything on the metal that can mess with powder or do I just pull it off wipe it down and coat?
I think the protective plastic is just statically attached. And the fender will probably be coated with a epoxy sealer. So it will have to be stripped and blasted before coating.
