  • What happens if you top coat mirror grey with a tranlucent

It would depend on the the translucent but it doesn't sound promising......but if you try it make sure that it is a polyester not polyurethane, please

have you been a Good Boy Elite? I am just not sure what color would be acheived by using gray as a basecoat ...trial and error is required here

Welcome back, KING...we missed you! No, I haven't been good...I've been naughty but enough about me. I was asking you to explain this comment you made for those who might not use polyurethanes very often (like myself).

there is no problem with the polyurethanes as long as you do not try to crosslink with polyester....it is important to know what resins you are using so that problems are not created

If you top coat mirror grey with a tranlucent what are the results.
you will get the deepness of the translucent but with less reflection of the base coat being not as shiny as chrome or polishing and the color will be darker
i have done many tests with the red and blue trans colors
over polishing ,real chrome ,chrome powders ,silvers, metalic silvers , metalic grey and directly over glassbeaded surface.
