    i have done many tests with the red and blue trans colors

    I put a trans red over chrome smoke and it didnt come out to bad was very dark but shiny. will post a pic when i get home.

    there is no problem with the polyurethanes as long as you do not try to crosslink with polyester....it is important to know what resins you are using so that problems are not created

    Welcome back, KING...we missed you! No, I haven't been good...I've been naughty but enough about me. I was asking you to explain this comment you made for those who might not use polyurethanes very often (like myself).

    have you been a Good Boy Elite? I am just not sure what color would be acheived by using gray as a basecoat ...trial and error is required here

    It would depend on the the translucent but it doesn't sound promising......but if you try it make sure that it is a polyester not polyurethane, please
