hello there everyone iam just a new user i live in scotland u.k can anyone recomend the bet laquer to go over highly polished wheels/parts i used the only kind the sell over here and its not as clear as i thought its dulled the polished look rite down

thanks alot guys i thot it was maybe something i was doing wrong ive not long started up my small company ran by myself (custom coatings uk) there are not that many powder coaters in scotland well in my area ive only been doing it for a year so iam still learning everyday iam also using a gema opti flex i dnt no anythng about setting up the machine and for what settings for diffirent colours of powder or effcts any info and advice would be much apricated heres su pics of my small workshop

your pic looks fine to me .... BMW, Mecerdes and Jag (USA) use the following coating method:
1. Primer basecoat - Powder
2. liquid coating for color
3. Acrylic Topcoat - Powder

This is the process on coating wheels that you find in manufacturing...I noticed the rack of wheels and thought this information could be helpful to you. Please note I recommended Acrylic Clear as the topcoat since this product minimizes the loss of gloss on metallics better than polyesters and urethanes....Comment

this could be why when iam doing some wheels ill base them up with the silver bake that in the oven wen the wheels come out the all look like what the silvers true colour is ment to be but when i laquer them it dulls that colour down and changes the silver all togeather to like a more daker grey rather than a brght silver do u have a link to that particular laquer on pbtp.comComment
