I don't understand how it works. I can see how it melts the powder, but how does it cure it? The flame obviously can't heat a whole part to 390ish and hold it there for 20 min? So, whats the deal there?

Looks like a wet paint systm honestly. Im not buying it, where is the electrostatic charge at? I dont see it being as durable as real powder coating either?Comment

Anybody actually gotten in touch with these guys to see their colors and prices.Seems like a pretty cool system.But just like powder can't replace paint this does'nt look like it will replace powder anytime soon.Looks like it might be a nice business option!Comment

Seen one in action at powder x, like a powder gun/ flame thrower combo.
easy to use, build super thick, 60- 70 mils easy, 1 inch, probably could
spray hot powder thru the air, gotta hurt at some point
powder is 5x the cost, and not as much coverage
$18k with a 6 or 7 ft enclosed trailer system from powder x
not for me, but theres the info I remember from my visit to powder xComment

I had my equipment befor I went to the class.
my pre treat station I got from rapid directly, hard to get Joey on the phone, to answer questions, ect..
