Kiel]Not sure if it's the same, but looks similar to Transparent Gold from the pics.
And, what do you mean, "4 bangers"? Juan has one nasty 4 banger. LOL!
I am not knocking 4 Bangers, I had a 452HP DSM I have much love for DOHC turbo motors I dont like civics though. Hell my diesel truck is faster then most civics
Do you think that is trans gold over polished? or over chrome base? or over REAL CHROME?
I have 1lb of rosies brilliant brass its a major failure in my book. The color flows good and is easy to get even coverage. My problem is that I left it in my garage for 2 days, and came out to give it to the customer. The powder cracked like glass, it looked like busted glass so, I dont know what to do now?

This is 2 coats over Polished Aluminum
Try re-curing it. I've heard of the cracks happening with clears that are undercured, and sometimes guys were able to re-cure and get the cracks to close. You could maybe clear it and run through one more cure. Not sure if it would work or not.

Thank you, but I have already stripped it and redid it with cracking again. I cured it fully again, unless my IR is jacked. The customer ended up choosing the burnt orange since I couldnt get the brilliant brass to work the way it should.

Wise is correct about the cracking.
I suspect you may not be getting an accurate temp reading because on the reflectivity of the part. Getting an accurate reading with the average I.R. gun on relective materials like polished parts, chrome, chrome powders etc........can be a PITA.
If you have an extra part or a piece of the same material with similar mass, blast that and also hang it in the oven to shoot the part temp off of.
We had to do a bunch of x-mas ornaments a few years back, and got tiles from PPG, Du Pont, and Tiger, NONE of them were that nice.
that color is exactly what my client wanted!!
add me to the list of those that want to know
maybe a NIC color?
