That sounds like the same thing.I took an old sears 25gal. horizontal compressor and robbed the working parts.Then put male and female quick connects on the tank using the holes where the pump was.Then mounted a hose real ontop.When I need it I just plug the line from my compressor into that.I leave the drain cracked more on the second tank to let the water out.Surprising how well it works.Find a cool [the cooler the better]spot in the shop to park it and you're good to go.

I remember when they came out a couple of painters I knew tried them,they work but they are kind of bulky.I use a diy expansion tank.It works great.I usually use two small inline desicant filters but that's just to make me feel better.
