  • Looking for a Yamaha blue

I want to match the really bright blue that Yamaha uses on their sport quads. I have a dormant blue that would match really well however I would rather use a single shot powder if I could because it would be for springs and I want to avoid having to do a second coat. So what powder would you guys recommend. Thanks.

I see Rosey's has a Cobalt blue but it is a hybrid. How well do you guys think it would hold up on a set of quad wheels and springs? Also who has the Reflex blue?

The Bentley blue look to be a dead on match, I ordered a swatch to see how it compares to the dormant blue I have. I was just hoping to be able to do one coat but if I have to do two coats, I guess I'll do two. Thanks for the help guys.

FYI, if you use a Hybrid - you must put a clear coat if it see's the light of day...Hybrids are not UV stable

I just got the Bentley blue sample and it is probably a dead on match. I should run over to the local Yamaha dealer to be sure. However the dormant blue is a very similar color just does not have the hint of purple in it, and it is also already paid for.

Dormant blue doesnt look the same in person as it does in pictures. Have you sprayed a sample panel to take it with you to see how far off it is ?
