I have a bunch of motorcycle parts that are supposed to be coming in fairly soon, and I have been told some have a little bit of bondo in them. Amazingly, I haven't had to deal with this issue yet. I would assume it will outgass like hell, so I am guessing it needs to come out. What is the best way to get it out, and what are the best fillers to replace it?

Re: Removing bondo?
Paint stripper will remove it as well as sanding. You can also use a wire wheel or 3M Scotch-Brite Clean and Strip Disc. The filler is probably there to smooth out welds and such. You can use JB Weld to do the same. I believe others have used All Metal and Lab Metal also. -
Re: Removing bondo?
You can also use a propane torch to melt it off.
