  • Removing bondo?

I have a bunch of motorcycle parts that are supposed to be coming in fairly soon, and I have been told some have a little bit of bondo in them. Amazingly, I haven't had to deal with this issue yet. I would assume it will outgass like hell, so I am guessing it needs to come out. What is the best way to get it out, and what are the best fillers to replace it?

Paint stripper will remove it as well as sanding. You can also use a wire wheel or 3M Scotch-Brite Clean and Strip Disc. The filler is probably there to smooth out welds and such. You can use JB Weld to do the same. I believe others have used All Metal and Lab Metal also.

You can also use a propane torch to melt it off.
