Powder storage containers

I only buy my powder in 1 lb. quantities, except for primer, PBTP ships in the double plastic bags........I've got them all over the place. Some of the other suppliers ship them in what look to me to be large spice containers.........works pretty good........what does everybody use to store their powder from PBTP. I must have 20-1 lb. bags of powder and it's kinda a hassle to get in and out of the bags all the time............what do you use, where do you get them, and how much?

Don't get me wrong PBTP.........love your powder, I just need an easier way to store it..........

i'm in the same boat, like to find some nice sealed containers for storage. i'm gonna check wal-mart when i think about it.

Ziploc Twist n Loc and similar containers I get from the wife. She works at Hardees and they have sour cream that comes in a nice container that holds a c ouple of pounds. I leave the powder in one of the bags and stuff it in the container. The Zip n Loc containers come in different sizes.

I use the Rubbermaid clear plastic jars with the screw on lids. They come in 2 qt and 1 gallon sizes and fairly cheap. I also write the color info, etc on masking tape on the lid and jar for less confusion.

I label mine to also with cure time and temp. I have a label maker I use.

I use the 2qt and 1gal RubberMaid ones from wally world, I have an extra lid with a hole cut in it so all I have to do is shake then pop the lid with the hole on (both sizes use the same lid) then shoot.

Between three families, we were eating peanut butter and giving me the jars. Now that the supply has dried up, guess I'll buy something else.

OK slowdrive that is just too damn cool! I was looking at a hopper conversion for the CW gun that I have and wow does that just seal the deal or what.

If you every have a lot to shoot but are not using a full 55lb box Sherwin Williams also has a great 5 gal. Bucket that can hold 30lbs. It has a small plug that you can remove and the tube fits right thru. I really like the rubber maid container. Cool idea!
