I tried it on a small test panel, and got a bit of peel so I'll have to play with it a little. (The powder I mean ) I'lm going to try it on another actual part or two over the weekend. I'm going to reserve judgement until I get a piece to come out smooth.

Re: Where Oh Where has our Buddy Duke Gone?

Its just been frigggging hot 2000 sq ft of 104 degrees even with the air on in my paint bay at 90 with the little or the 30" running??? Scared to fire the big one.

I have been testing the ult chrome with clears and also with acrylic clear. My son was showing a friend last night what it looks like and he ask why do the pictures look so much better on web site? I told him it the resolution they use on their camera but no way its going to be what most people think chrome should look like! Ain't going to happen not even with ceramic. Smoke chrome looks better because you are not expecting chrome!
The ult chrome want let the black chrome come out as it would over polished aluminum or chrome. I was hoping it would and I would have had a few bike frames to do already! If they want it I will have to send them to the chrome shop and then back to me for the black chrome powder! Its their money and now I have to see what I can work out at the chrome shop?

The ult is the best looking one so for on the market and I have not tested it yet under some of the other trans colors to see it it would make them look better? My guess is it would make them brighter? I could powder coat parts for years and never run out of parts and really do some testing with products but have to wait till the grand kids or out of school and want something to do to start taking carbs and other things apart to do it Hey cheep labor? Do this then eat

All I want is a dag filter set up for my dag stripper tank and I will be happy for a min or two??????????????
This is what I have posted.

What type of filter system are any of you using to clean your stripper. Like in the 50 + gal range. I am looking for a filter that can be cleaned if any one knows of one?

The PBTP stripper takes off powder in sheets like 917 does so I have to place a wire mesh in the bottom of my tank to help catch what I would miss dipping it out but what I need is a filter to help clean the other type paint products that dissolve like the 1012 does in small particles? I need to come up with an affordable recovery system. I have a parts washer pump coming in and not need to fig a way to clean the stripper.

              Any Ideas?

Re: Where Oh Where has our Buddy Duke Gone?

                      DUKE!!!!,

Well after my first 30 minutes of autocad in the morning I have some ideas.

                      Lets not over complicate this....

Make a regular frame out of box metal or steel to fit around the inside of the tank. Attach a fine metal mesh on the top with brackets and screws. Attach 4 eye bolts on each corner of the frame. Attach chain to the eye bolts on the left side and a new chain to the eye bolts on the right side for handles.

When you want to filter just yank up on the chains and it should catch everything.

If you do not understand I can draw it.

He already has that for the large pieces of stuff, but what about the desolved particles he wants removed from the liquid?

To keep it cleaner. Just doing your hooks in a jar puts a lot of mess in the bottom and quick so if you put in some painted wheels you are going to have a lot of stuff in the bottom and quick. Carlson Did you see the picture of the tank I posted on EW?
