As we all know Metal Craft tools offer the most extensive powder coating training on the market. Yesterday, PBTP was present during the class and gave a demonstration using the King Coat Gun.....I was amazed at how she layed the powder down...first coats-no problem and very little overspray which minimized the cost to the custom coater, use less powder. The a very special man had us spray a part that he had already coated but he was not satisfied with the results.... The King Coat Gun Shot this part cold with no problem and the finish after cure was awesome!!!! Thank you King Coat for being the best option for the custom coater...

Re: King Coat Hopper Unit used at Metal Craft Tools Class
I went to the class because I felt like I needed it, to help put some of the puzzles together so to speak of the things Ive learned on this forum and other reasons. One reason was PBTP was there and I wanted to see and compare the King gun with the Nordson and the Wagner. Based on my unprofessional opinion, the Nordson and the wagner and the King gun, the diffrence seemed to be mostly with very useable bells and whistles or should I say optoins on the controller. the powder flow, The king seemed to be like really close with the flow of powder and application, especially for me. But I am new to this so I might be completly wrong. In fact it might be a little to nice for a beginner like me. Im getting into this with a background of having a sucessful lawn business for 18 years, based on my past purchases in my early lawn years, I feel like I made the right decision with purchasing the King gun. Im not ready for the top of the line, but I didnt want to go with the low end cause I have one.Comment
