  • Advice needed re: Transfer Cart Wheels in the Oven

I want to leave my transfer cart in the oven but am concerned the wheels/casters wont hold up to the heat. What wheels/casters are coaters using?

I'm planning a new oven and am wanting to transfer parts directly from the coating booth to the oven.
I am figuring on using a solid wheel with some sort of bronze bushing and steel shaft. Possibly a teflon bushing would solve the lubrication vs galling issues??? Any advice would be appreciated...

If you get the steel casters get the biggest wheel you can get. Easier to roll and less bumpy. Northern tool has them also.

I know for a fact that the steel castners at Tractor Supply have grease in the bearings as a lube. That might be a problem when it smokes off.
