I need to do some HD heatshields in high temp gloss black, I did a bud bottle (PBTP HIGH TEMP GLOSS BLACK 35%)and it wasnt the gloss that the customer wanted ,this may be due to me not curing at high enough temp or long enough time. I cured at 400 for about 15 minutes and then read that it wants 450 for 20 minutes, si I am redoing the bottle. Has anyone dealt with this powder on heat shields or other powder to get the high gloss without if failing down the road . Any hints from you guys is appreciated.

Originally posted by HarleydadNo I have not. I don't imagine it would work real well with the high temp being silicone based. Even then I think the clear may yellow over time with the heat.Comment
