Got a sign shop interested in getting a quote on pricing for some signs.

"Presently, I am looking to powder coat 3 pieces of Aluminum sheet 1/8 inch thick, 2 about 10” x 5”, and one about 1.5’ x 7 ‘. The colour would be a kind of gun metal grey…. What would prices, turn around time etc be for this job?"

This is my first commercial job and would like to have a way to quote him on this job as well as other future jobs.How do you calculate for something like this?

Anywhere between $10-15 a piece for 1 coat smaller items. As for a 7' peice Id say 5 bucks a square foot.

Thats the going rate for flat work I've seen posted recently.
