I am messing with this stuff again today & still not having much luck. I am trying to paint some lines with it & it's tough to get a even coat. I tried mixing per directions, tried adding some water, tried mixing a little more liquid 2 powder in it, nothing seemed to really help. I am just wondering if anyone else has used it & did you have much luck? If it worked for you, then what were you steps & mixing ratio? If I get time today I am going to try to spray it too.

I am just wondering if any one has had luck with it. I remember a person on the EW forum saying they didn't have much luck ether, so I am seeing if any had any thing good come out with this stuff. I am guessing not since I haven't seen any pics from any body.

I have no idea how many others may have been in on this, but I still haven't seen anyone come up with a way to make this work worth a damb. My biggest issue was not being able to get it mixed to a consistency that would give good even coverage. I don't think in it's current formulation, it'll ever work. I have no idea what it even is. I've thought about sending it to a lab to have it analyzed??

Re: Anyone used LIQUID 2 POWDER
Here is what I know......
Some companies powder coat MDF (wood), but it take a special powder to do this of course with a lower heat to cure. Same goes on plastics, but some plastics are hi-temp and can handle 400+ f.
NOW THIS COMES FROM THE RUMOR MILL!
I have heard you can spray this over a substrate that can not handle 400+ f. How? Well from my source and this is not PBTP. You spray the L2P and then air dry. Now place in the oven at 180f or less and bake for around 20 mins, Then take out let cool and there is a top coat that you can spray with the same or better qualities then some powder that will lock in everything and I think that product cures at 180 f for 20 mins.
Originally posted by hjeadesI was reading on this stuff on PBTP and I have a question. It says you can spray or brush it on wood or plastic, but it also says it needs to be cured. Am I misunderstanding this?
