  • PRIMERS- when and why

with 5 primers being offered when would you use one and which one for what job? i have used the kl primer in the past to fill in areas or when a customer tells me to "go heavy" on the coating but not the others.

Also keep in mind that the Red Oxide Primer can be applied up to 20 mils and is also easily sandable.

I do alot of cast aluminum parts and usually always use KL primer. Would it be better to use the red oxide?
