  • Cross-linking and Mixing powders

The people that have done this please chime in what you have done.

I had someone ask me about this and he wanted to hear about some examples.

    Thanks

    Re: Cross-linking and Mixing powders

I've wanted to see this myself. I once heard that if you mix 2 different RAL colors, you must mix at a 1:4 ratio. the darker of the 2 colors would be the 1 and the lighter would be the 4 ratio. I have heard of this only being done with RAL colors that are Polyester TGIC's. Not sure if this works or not though.

Mix a blue and yellow together, I'd like to see green.
                  Was this a joke?

Nope, unless I'm misunderstanding the content of this topic.

Ohh ok..Thanks HD for clearing that up.

I do not have ANY RAL colors.

                      I concur....

Someone asked me about this. I was waiting for the people I have seen post their experiences.

The mad scientist will be in the lab this weekend doing some testing with what I have. (This includes some very nice silver that was sent to me).

Anything you would like to do really would be fine. Thanks!
I am drawing a blank because of all the reading I'm doing in a manual a nice lady gave me earlier this week.
I believe I grasp crosslinking or how to anyway from what you were explaining to me. Sounds tricky and timing is everything. Although I haven't seen anything done this way or at least no to my knowledge.

Since someone(HD) brought it up how do you mix two colors evenly to get another color? Sifter?
                          It wasn't me

Theres a big difference in colors. Thats all just because of the different chemical make up of the clears?
