  • Bad Powder?

    Looks like bad powder to me. I would strip and reapply new powder IMO. I have never had good luck trying to sand and re-powder over problems like that.

    Try some test panels.

    Shake up the powder real good. Try shooting with less or more powder.

      I did roll the bag and shake it up well. I have fresh powder on the way, I've decided to just strip and recoat. I don't want to chance using the same powder again and I don't care to coat over the finish as it is now. I can do tests with the existing powder later.

            In most cases the shelf life of powder is 6 months

              that is the KEY! Since PBTP stores their powder in an E-room, we do not and have not had issues with Bad powder. All PBTP powders are quality inspected before they ship to our most wonderful and important customers.
