  • Did a couple of panels today...

All in all not a bad day for the money and the HEAT!

My candy blue was sitting in the sun before I sprayed it (Stupid me) and it was getting clumpy quick in the little plastic container the electric gun uses.

My Favorite Panel was the Red Cherry Vein with Custom Clear. The Iron Metal Glimmer was also a very nice color. For a dark base coat under candies and tranparents Glimmer is pretty cool. Also Bose silver looked very nice under the Hot Candy Blue. The day was getting pretty hot and I had others things to do today or I would of done better and more testing. Take it easy this is only my second shot with this electric gun. It takes some getting used to. ALL POWDERS WERE SHOT COLD! EVEN CLEARS AND TOP COATS.

    The equipment used:

    PBTP Airless electric gun

    Tinfoil

Small toaster oven with top viewing glass

    Q panels from PBTP

    All PBTP powders

    Powder colors that were used:

    Mirror Black

    Flat Black

    Bose Silver

    Candy Blue

    Cherry Red Vein

    Iron Gunmetal Glimmer

    Semi Gloss Clear

    Metal Flake Orange

    Illusion Gold

    Update with pictures coming up........

Thats pretty sweet. How did you mix the additives in the clear? With a sifter? It looks real even.

The mix was by my eye. I used a metal spoon and just scooped a tiny bit at the end and dumped it in a bag with the clear. Shake the bag good and put it in my little cup for the electric cup gun.

I hope to do some more testing soon.
