  • scratch and mar resistance

there have been times when a customer will contact me to say he scratched the piece that i shot for him installing it on his bike/car. what can we expect from our coatings as far as a "reasonable" resistance to scratches or mars. what kind of at home test can i do to make sure everything is going out OK? some customers think powder coating is "inpenitrable"!

I tell all my clients that while powder is more durable than most paints, you should treat it like paint during reassembly.
most of our clients think powder should out last roaches during a nuclear war
