Plenty of questions about ovens, booths, and cabinets. What about a sink? What is everyone using to wash parts when needed? Are you using a large sink? Water hose? Post some pictures and dimensions of your sick! I'm in serious need of one so I'm looking for options.

Re: Sinks? What are you using?
OK... we have an immersion cleaner that sits ontop of a 30gl drum, that is used for the smaller parts. We then have a automotive parts washer. Then there is the good ole` brake / carb clean spray cans... we have an area outside where we spray & rinse off with a hose. I think that is it, although i have been known to take parts to the car wash also !!!!!

Hey Juan,
Keep your eyes open for small grocery stores going out of biz. I worked in the mead department for 10 years at a supermarket, and some of those slop sinks are really nice. They practically throw them out when they go out of biz or remodel a store.

Look for a resturant supply house or a used resturant equipment store should be able to pic up a nice large stainless sink for short money.

[quote=[SM]Juan]Originally posted by "ATL Powder":16nyws75Curious as to what type of solvent or cleaner you guys have in the parts washers.
Hey Juan, If you see Rubbermaid Super Degreaser pick it up - I'm almost positive it the same as Industrial Purple but about 1/2 the price ($5.49 vs. $9.95).
On the bottle it says it's made by ZEP, and the last 3 numbers of the product code are the same (128).
