I have a customer in Charlotte, North Carolina, who needs a bike frame stripped which has several coats of powder coating. They are willing to pay, is there anyone in this area who can do this? This is for a professional BMX rider and this frame can't be sand blasted, the biker says that will affect the weight balance of the bike.
I have a customer who dropped off his wheels to us today. We have never coated wheels like this before and wanted to get a few suggestions from you guys. I have attached a photo below. The customer wants a mid gloss black. You will notice inside is cast. We are going to outgas the rim before we shoot the coating.
We just did a set of "fat boys". I had told the customer that powder does not hide the texture & if he wanted a "flat surface" for the SD Wet Black we would need to prime He decided on priming & 2 coats of KL primer later he had smooth rims... just a suggestion
