      Re: humidity

Knowing your humidity level help you determine the proper KV setting you will need to use. I keep it about 40% relative humidity in my shop. During the summertime in the humid Georgia heat this can be hard to do and the dehumidifier has to work double time. In the winter I have to use a humidifier as the heater will dry out the shop air quick.

Powder Sprays best above 30% humidity. I dont control my shop but the humidity level does determine what powders I spray sometimes. Blacks are the worst for back ionization.

          Re: humidity

My garage is a constant 30% in the winter. But I've never adjusted my kv's for it....maybe that contributes to my issues.

I lower the KV setting when the humidity gets low and raise it when it get high.
