Caswell Solar Flat Black?

I sprayed some of caswells solar flat black and it came out more like a satin. Probably as much gloss as the Gloss High Temp stuff from here... Did I screw up or is it the way the powder looks?

Yeah, I've shot the solar flat black also. I thought it was more of a semi-gloss, had some shine to it.

i've used..looks awesome in my opinion..did an entire dirtbike with it..

Alright, so it's not just me. The chart says it has a sheen of 6, yet it came out at least as shiny as my High temp gloss black from pbtp, which I think is around maybe a 40% gloss...

I like the way it looks, but I was using it on heat shields, trying to match flat black pipes for a customer. Silly me, I thought when the can said flat, it would be flat.

I've shot it before, and yep that's correct, it comes out somewhere in between a flat and satin. I've always had good results with it and it looks nice, but not quite flat.

Will do but It'll be about a month, hopefully less, I'm still putting my building up. But I'm planning on going to the PBTP rodeo thing on Saturday, seeing as it's only like 3 hours from me. I remember hearing about the starts of a PBTP get together last summer, just logged onto the forum today and read about the rodeo this weekend and am all excited about it, can't wait! Just gotta talk to Shelly tomorrow and make sure there's room or whatever.
