  • first time 4 a customer!!

    he said he wanted a yellowish orange. i mixed a lil bit of red with the yellow and a touch of white all in the same hopper. this is what i got...

    i will get some better ones up tomorrow if i get enough replies for me to do so.

      no prob you guys... i will take some close ups and re post in the morning b4 noon!!

      yeah about the color match too. what i do is take measuring cups and fill which ever i need and mash down like you would brown suger. so i get the perfecr match. mix in my mixing hopper then its ready to go.

        On that mixing i would recommend a digital scale. You can get them online pretty cheap and they make VERY accurate ones (no idea why someone would want to be that accurate around the house ).

              I bought mine at walmart for around $40.00 it is a digital postal scale (max. is 3lb.) and it is accurate, I use it for flake and pearls....I don't know what else it could be used for

                    OMG!!!! i get paid for the job, now he wants em black...i have two coats of yellow and a nice coat of clear. how in the hell am i gonna strip all that crap off???

                            BOOM!!! i threw a nice coat of black over all of it... came out lookin good. it was the SD CC clear coat on it too. so far so good!!


                            but still, what if i did have to strip all of it...what would be a good stripper?

                            also, off topic, i did some SS tubing with high temp black last nigh to practice, and pulled em out. they looked great. but this mornin it was all chipping right off???? i scuffed em up pretty good too. what did i do wrong??

                              The cybersolve (C8544 I think) product works really well and won't give you cancer like the Benco17.

                              What was your prep on the SS tube?
