You've ever used for a test piece?

I got my first shipment of Black Chrome II today and I was just DYING to get something coated... My stapler is chrome...



Crappy pot metal had some pits and whatnot; boy does that powder show flaws! This is just one coat... need to try something else with two coats.

So what's the weirdest thing you've coated in desperation or impatience, just to get some powder on a part?

I usually try limit myself to things around the garage. Old pieces of metal and tools... I did a gearset out of a transmission!

I ran accross some of these on clearance for about 50 cents a year or so ago (anybody gonna guess what they are......).......before I stared PC'ing..........come in handy for shooting test colors........they're stainless steel too.................

That's correct.........gave this one to my brother-in-law.........he took a shine to it, so I gave it to him. I think I got about 15 or so of them.........
