smaller panels were ok,just have a mark where the ground clamp was,the tin i soaked in cbersolve, then ao blasted, then surcoat, rinse, denatured alcohol, dried and shot, same process for all pieces, the tins keep coming out with those holes, restripping now and maybe a heat cycle? i have a new fender i am going to shoot side by side with this one and see what happens.

        Per your PM,

Also when drying the part get yourself a little hand torch to dry it off and get any lint that was left behind.

To me it is hard to see in the pictures what those marks are. Did this happen at ALL on your test panel? If so you might have some issues with water or oil in the air hose line. Also it could be left on solvent from your prep. Try a test panel with no prep and if it turns out with no issues then you know the culprit. If the test panel shows issues then its your air line (I think). Process of elimination 1 item at a time. Test panels can be very worthy.

Here are some trouble shooting guides to read through.

ok so it was the same except for the stripper
what i meant to say was , same batch ,same powder,etc....
i do use a propane torch when i hang the pieces right before i shoot them.
after stripping i use a pressure washer to remove the stripper, i thought that would be sufficient to remove it
the fender i'm gonna do today was new, waiting for the problem fender to come out of the tank, will probably shoot tommorow.

Did you put the test panels in stripper? Did the test panels have these issues without being in the stripper?

These are the questions I would be looking to answer. If they are unclear I can talk to you on the phone to see if we can come up with a plan to test.

If you did not strip the panels or prep them and they have the spots on them. I would be looking at your air compressor lines and do a quick test. Napkin test (You should do this anyways if you have not already)

Switch to an air blower on your air hose. Get a paper towel and fold it until you get about a 3X3 inch square. Hold it on the tip of the air blower or about 1 inch away. Hold the trigger down for about 1 minute. Check the napkin for dampness or discoloration.

                Ok,

Then I would be leaning towards what HD said. No need for the Denatured. You can skip that step if you want.

                  WHAT I WAS THINKING,

                  ORIGINAL FENDER; CYBERSOLVE,PRESSURE WASH,AO BLAST,RINSE,SURCOAT,RINSE,DRY,PROPANE TORCH,SHOOT
                  NEW FENDER;AO BLAST,RINSE,SURCOAT,RINSE,DRY,PROPANE TORCH,SHOOT

MAYBE A HEAT CYCLE FOR THE ORIGINAL FENDER BETWEEN THE WASH AND BLAST?

Sounds good to me. You may want to try rinsing the stripped fender with hot water before the pressure wash.
I'm anxious to see the results.
I am going with HD sounds good.

O.K. now, what did we learn?

                              no need for alcohol{on the part after surcoat}

mirror black does NOT need to be 4mils thick,(1.2-1.8)

                              outgas,outgas,outgas,cook that sucker good

when you think it's smooth, sand some more

                              lower temp,longer time

make sure you have clean media

make sure you have clean air

only work when you feel like it

                              you don't always need 100kv
