    Re: marble effect?

I would try it with L20 sprayed on. Spray base coat cure it. Spray top coat and lay Saran wrap smudge around with hand, lift off and bake?

I haven't tried it but it might work.

That'll give you more of a "wrinkled" look and not as even and smooth looking. This marble effect seems to be some sort of a liquid swirling around for the top coat. Like dripping some paint in a big bucket and stirring it around.

When I did car painting I used saran wrap like my above post. Hmmm maybe its a different look?

              Re: marble effect?

I have heard of people dipping it in a stripper or spraying on a stripper. Not sure how this would work with curing etc.

Have you ever seen D-Zolve 1012 when you are stripping? It comes off like liquid. I bet you could spray it on and use some saran wrap if needed then maybe let dry and re cure?

Not sure. But its a cheap way out. Maybe even paint thinner would work. Once again I do not know if it will kill the properties of powder coating. I wonder if it just puts it in a liquid state and then air drys and you can re cure it?

Worth a shot. Afterwards just do an MEK test to see if it fully cured.

You can use steel wool too to give it that effect.

I figured you would have to get something that would melt it pretty quick. Trial and error on this deal. So we rule out Lac thinner and MEK.

MEK I figured would dry too fast for you to even mess with it.

So if you "dribble on" some mek on dry? powder and then use air to move around the mek this will give you the effect like with the bows?
