Help with finding a good grey metallic color match!

Please see the attached BBS wheel finished in a nice gunmetalish grey metallic color. I am trying to match this color as close as possible. Is there a powder that doesnt require a chrome basecoat that can give me this color? thanks!

hey harley, thanks again for your help in that thread. in that thread i was looking for a normal silver color for wheels.

now i am looking for a gunmetal grey metallic color, also for wheels

can you tell i do a lot of wheels? its a very nice little market. the popular wheel colors are satin black, mirror black, mirror white, silver, gunmetal, gold/bronze metallic

hey thanks powder_coating_pros! black chrome is what i was looking for ... i just wanted to make sure it was a single color I can lay on, instead of needing a chrome basecoat.

sidenote: it really annoys me that "black chrome" is really like 10 different colors. all sellers have their own, different, "black chrome" and it is hard to keep tabs on! this black chrome looks good though

Any metallic powder you will need to clear.

side note: is PBTP bonded black chrome the same as NIC black chrome?

Hey thats what I do .... I am not god...I step down from my soap box.

For certain looks I can opt. out of a clear depending on what look and item, but for the most part I clear.
