  • Clear Coat Problem?

I'm doing a set of wheels for a friend of mine. I started with PBTP Xtreme Chrome and then clear coated them with the PBTP Diamond Clear. I was very happy with the chrome but when I did the clear it had spots where it looked like it ran and other spots where it looked like your skin with "goose bumps". Other parts of the wheels look perfect. There was even a couple of spots where chrome seemed to lift off of the wheel. The only problem I had with the chrome is some areas it looks like the chrome cracked (a whole different of problems I think). I'm using the Chinese ebay knock off gun. My oven is only big enough for 2 wheels so I'd like have an idea of what I did wrong before I do the other 2.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really hate learning by mistakes but not being very bright and that seems like the way I do it.

Ok what I will say is what ( I ) think could be some issues to look at.

Chrome and cracking USUALLY means too much powder.

Running in the clear USUALLY means too much powder again.

Please post pictures so we could help more.

Thanks for the help. I was guessing that was what I had done. I tried to get some pictures but none that I took were very good and had enough detail to see the problem. Good thing I got some Cybersolv
